Mister Fizzbomb may be the one to side with here although the likes of Maneki Nero, Pee Jay's Dream and Resplendent Ace clearly merit respect. The selection has won three times over a mile and a half so it came as no surprise to see him struggle over a mile on his return to action at Beverley. He should be sharper for that outing and should be competitive from his current mark. There's little to choose between Maneki Nero and Pee Jay's Dream on their recent running but marginal preference is for the latter who may be better suited by the demands of this track. Resplendent Ace looked well worth another try at this trip when staying on well at Newcastle but he still has a little to prove at this distance on grass although he has won over twelve furlongs at Kempton. Hits Only Vic and Bijou Dan look capable of making the frame in an open race but we prefer Mister Fizzbomb who looks set to step up on the form of his reappearance.
