Cherri Fosfate may be the safest option in a competitive contest but it would be no surprise to see Lucayan Dancer, Keisha Kayleigh or even Betteras Bertie show up well. The selection comes into the race in really good form having won a seller over course and distance on his penultimate start before going down by a short-head in a handicap at Haydock. He's creeping up in the weights but should give another good account of himself. Lucayan Dancer ran better than his finishing position suggests last time and has plenty of form to his name at around this trip from higher marks and could well bounce back to form in a race like this. Keisha Kayleigh will benefit from any rain that falls and will find this test more to her liking than the Musselburgh handicap she contested last time. Betteras Bertie has a little more to prove but he made quite an encouraging return to action at Redcar and could just surprise as he's still relatively unexposed for a five year-old. Titinius and Smoothly Does It should be in the mix but don't win very often so we'll stick with the in-form Cherri Fosfate.
