In depth

Verdict

Tracy Waggott has won this twice in four years including with VALANTINO OYSTER in 2013. The eight-year-old was in excellent form at this time a year ago and this is his trip and ground these days so is taken to gain the 12th success of his career. Jacobs Son - six times a winner on the all-weather - was winning for the first time in 18 attempts on Turf at Leicester last week and comes here with a 6lb penalty. He has to be respected but In Vino Veritas, who has several placed efforts behind him that would be good enough for this, has yet to lose his maiden tag and has become frustrating. Graceful Act won over 1m2f here in August but hasn't run well subsequently but Gotcha has only had four starts and looks one of the few here capable of finding some improvement.
