MYTHICAL CITY is progressing nicely and was suited by forcing tactics and ground with some give at Haydock. With more rain forecast, she should have conditions to suit and can complete a double despite a 6lb rise. All My Love also likes to be up with the pace but her victory at Leicester came on heavy going in a lower grade handicap. Director hasn't shown much and makes his handicap debut but this should be his trip and better is expected while Taraz, another having his first start in a handicap, was all at sea on soft ground at Nottingham. Secret Lightning won a mile handicap on soft going at Thirsk then couldn't quite hold on over an extra furlong at Hamilton. She should be thereabouts and Stormin Tom didn't stay 1m4f at Doncaster after a comfortable victory over a mile at Nottingham. Ghostly Arc led for a long way over 1m4f at Beverley, his first sign of ability, and must be considered from the same mark.
