Elkhorn can keep up the good work in an open handicap, with Dancing Mystery, Our Little Secret and Henry Hall just a few out to stop him. Julie Camacho has really worked the oracle with Elkhorn, sending out the four-year-old to land each of his last three outings here in recent weeks. His handicap mark has not risen too harshly, as one of those victories was in an apprentice affair, and although this is a drop back in distance, his style of racing suggests that it will not be a problem. Dancing Mystery is now 12-years-old but is no back number judged on his latest return to form, while fellow old stager Henry Hall unbelievably broke the course record here 10 days ago. He now meets the third home Strensall on 3lb worse terms though, and will do well to double up. Our Little Secret has been very consistent but has a habit of finding one or two too good, as do the likes of Hypnosis and Memphis Man, although first-time cheekpieces may help the latter's cause. Elkhorn travels supremely well in his races these days and is taken to complete a four-timer.
