Merchant Of Dubai will have come on for his first run for Jim Goldie when fifth in a Listed race at Hamilton. However, his best form has been over longer trips on a slower surface and he'll do well to confirm recent running with JUTLAND. The latter never threatened at Hamilton, but his last three wins have been over today's trip and ground and with further progress expected, Mark Johnston's charge gets the vote. Three-time winner Sarrsar is another with scope for improvement, but Prince Of Johanne is facing his toughest task yet raised another 4lb after landing his hat-trick at Ripon. Jo'Burg finished ahead of Pendragon, Breakheart and Mirrored in last year's Cambridgeshire and the latter made a winning comeback at Doncaster, while Arlequin had Ingleby Spirit behind when third at York last time. Halicarnassus is hard to win with and today's trip looks too short anyway.
