A very good turnout for this nice prize. Leader's Legacy has won three of his last four with his only defeat coming in the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot. He's up 8lb for a recent victory at Wolverhampton and this is tougher. Restorer was having his first start for Ian Williams at Chester and landed some really nice bets. He had dropped to a lenient mark and an extra 5lb is unlikely to prevent another big run. Abareeq was dropped to Class 4 company at Newmarket and obliged in comfortable fashion. He's up 8lb in this better event though he's still well below his all-weather mark. What's The Story looked ready for this trip when staying on over a mile at Wetherby while Indian Chief has been going well without getting there but last year's winner Briardale ran very poorly in his three subsequent starts. SENIORITY has had nine starts but is possibly still progressing. He reappeared with a narrow victory in a tough handicap at Chelmsford, where he would have found the mile on the short side, and is only 2lb higher so looks on a lenient mark.
