        Verdict

        Miss Dd is on the same mark as when beaten a neck over this trip at Carlisle a week ago and it will be a surprise if she's not in contention again. TIGER LYON won a Wolverhampton handicap in December and returned three weeks ago to make most until headed close home over Beverley's stiff 5f. He could have done without a 4lb rise but looks progressive and can go one better. Primo's Comet has shown potential and has dropped to a reasonable mark while Palmer has been racing on unsuitable soft going and can do better. Machree ended her first campaign with a victory at Catterick and started favourite on her return but faded after showing good speed. Angel Force has the champion on board and ran well in a better race than this at York last time so enters the equation.
