Christian Williams will be keen to get cracking from his new base and FIFTY SHADES affords him decent claims here. The gelding has improved on each of four runs since joining the yard and was a comfortable scorer at Worcester this month. He now reverts to hurdles off a 5lb lower mark in this conditional jockeys' hurdle in which the services of the outstanding James Bowen have been secured. The selection should have plenty more to come as he's only a five-year-old and is taking on more exposed rivals. Those to the head of the weights look in the grip of the assessor currently so the likes of Ilewindelilah, Sweet'n'chic and Some Finish all make greater appeal and are preferred in that order with the former having performed with credit here in the past.
