In depth

Verdict

The Wicket Chicken is hard to assess as he makes his chasing debut in handicap company but has a solid chance if transferring his hurdling ability to this new discipline. Bach De Clermont has looked in the assessor's grip but still runs to a consistent level and is far from discounted. Both Krugermac and Samson were beaten favourites last day so turn up with something to prove, whereas Youngoconnor took to fences well when second on his chasing debut at Worcester and looks the sort to progress further. He's tempting but KINGS TEMPTATION quite impressed when scoring over course and distance just over a fortnight ago and is taken to follow up off a 5lb higher mark which is feasible.
