The superbly bred Dan Dare is given a narrow vote in this highly competitive event, Prince Of Light and Flipando could provide most danger. Sir Michael Stoute's gelding beat nothing of note when losing his maiden tag at newcastle but did win with plenty in hand. He showed plenty of ability in maidens last season and does get in here on a very tempting mark. Mark Johnston had three entered at the five day stage and he gives Prince Of Light the go ahead. Having won off a mark of 109 last season he is now well treated and should be spot on for this following two promising efforts in tough handicaps. Flipando landed a decent Beverley contest in great style last time out and has only been raised two pounds so has to enter calculations. The Willie Musson yard has hit a rich vein of form and so Flio is worth a look in the market, but Dan Dare must have given the handicapper a bit of a headache and he may have got in here lightly
