    Verdict

Art Advisor gets the confident vote in the opener with Chatham Islands and Mr Lu also shortlisted. The selection showed plenty of promise on his racecourse debut when he was a narrow second behind New Jersey at York. He was nailed in the shadows of the post that day but with that experience under his belt he can go one better here. Chatham Islands is a well-bred filly from the Mark Johnston yard and with the stable in good form she is worth considering. Mr Lu is another from an in-form yard but he is bred to be better over a longer trip and he may find this a little on the sharp side. Tikinheart will have to step-up on what he has shown so far to get competitive and for the winner we will return to Art Advisor who should be hard to beat.
