This is a competitive handicap and the narrow vote is given to Dorn Dancer with Gilded Cove and Violent Velocity others to consider. Violent Velocity arrives here in teriffic form and he is on a hat-trick bid today. However, he has gone up in the weights for his recent success at Musselburgh when he just got the better of Motu and for that reason he is worth taking on. Gilded Cove was a little unlucky when third behind Came Back at Wolverhampton last time. However, he has never won on the turf and he has the worst of the draw today so he may have to settle for a minor role again. Petite Mac has a good draw and is a course and distance winner so could go well at a price. Dorn Dancer looks a more solid option though and gets our vote. She won well last time at Ayr and although she has a penalty for that success, she has ground conditions in her favour here and she stands out as the one they all have to beat.
