Simon Walker won this two years ago and his presence on the consistent but limited Natalie catches the eye. Serena Brotherton rides Slingsby for the first time and will be hoping she can put his head in front where it counts after five successive second places. Fujin has gone close on a couple of occasions but the ex-Irish Walk Right Back is looking high enough in the weights. PICCADILLY JIM returns after a break and though having to carry a big weight his overall form just about gives him the edge and Alison Deniel is a very experienced pilot so Richard Fahey's charge is handed the vote. Straight Gin puts in the occasional decent performance and that could be enough to get him into the frame. Shesnotforturning was a 66/1 chance when runner-up at Newcastle and a repeat of that would see her involved in the finish.
