Verdict

Coeur Brule came home a tired-looking horse when still a good second at Fontwell on their recent hunter chase evening and therefore there must be slight concerns about the extra quarter of a mile he now faces. However, ground conditions should be far more to his liking now and he's likely to give a good account. The choice though is NATIVE PRIDE who has time on his side, remains lightly-raced but also boasts a most attractive piece of point-to-point form in the book when beating Ballyboker Bridge last year, since when the latter went on to run some really good races in Ireland last season, including a cross-country chase success in Punchestown. Fiddleesticks and Hill Of Gold could also contend but the market should prove the best signpost in such a specialist contest with hardly any form under Rules to assess.
