Verdict

Frequency won in this grade at Hamilton earlier in the month but that was over 6f, which is his best trip. He also has a bit to find with a few of these, who have been taking on much better company. IRISH HEARTBEAT is back over 7f for the first time this season having run with credit over shorter trips at York and Newmarket recently. Taking into account the respective claims of apprentices Justin Newman and Lee Topliss, he gets a pound from last year's Newbury Spring Cup winner Light From Mars which should be enough to swing things his way as John Quinn's charge has been well below his best so far this term. Tarooq may need this and the others have a mountain to climb at the weights.
