Verdict
Roger Varian and David Egan could post a quick double as there was plenty to like about SAINT LAWRENCE’s first run at Newmarket where he gave every indication this extra furlong would be right up his street. Mister Allegro is the first foal to race of a middle-distance winner so stamina is unlikely to be a problem and he’s likely to attract market support. There is also plenty of stamina in the pedigree of the filly Beechwood Emily but Ventura Mutiny will wear the owner’s first colours.
