    Verdict

Aussie Stormer never threatened when third at Lingfield on his debut and GUSSY MAC is preferred. The latter ran green behind Eye Of Heaven in a hot novices race at Newmarket but still finished ahead of Rooster and Roger Teal’s colt should find this easier. Swooper showed plenty of pace when running well for a long way at Yarmouth and makes more appeal than Plum Run, who finished runner-up here last time while Velocistar was due to run at Ripon yesterday.
