Seattle Robber has an obvious chance judged by official BHB ratings and on recent form so he gets the vote ahead of Frenchgate and Rock Haven. The last mentioned would have solid claims on the form shown when successful here in similar grade over an extra furlong last month but he has disappointed since then. Peters Delite is on a long losing sequence but ran better in a selling handicap last time and he has to be respected with the Richard Fahey yard among the winners of late. Beau Marche has struggled under a penalty in this grade and in handicaps of late so may be best watched, while Second Reef is consistent but has only won once from 23 starts which hardly inspires confidence. Frenchgate has run with credit in selling handicaps of late but this looks tougher and preference for Seattle Robber, who has been running well under both codes of late and is well treated.
