It will be interesting to see how the market shapes up regarding the two Mick Easterby runners Emperor's Well and Gala Sunday but the one they all have to beat is Coalpark. The selection has shown improved form on both turf and the sand of late, remains open to further improvement and he is taken to win again. Turn Of Phrase would have claims on the form shown when successful at Newcastle two starts ago but is inconsistent, while Billy One Punch now looks to be in the grip of the handicapper and may struggle to give weight away all round. Apsara has been running consistently of late and is entitled to be thereabouts again but George Moore's mare may have to settle for a minor role, while Ali D is on a long losing sequence and is probably best watched. Coalpark has done little wrong of late though and he gets the vote to score again.
