Frontier Fighter finally returned to form last time when taking a Wolverhampton claimer but has always appeared a better horse away from Turf. Richard Hannon runners in northern claimers are few and far between so SUGAR LUMP (NAP) must surely go close after contesting Newbury and Newmarket handicaps the last twice, albeit without great involvement. His juvenile form was way above this level and he's taken to appreciate this major drop in grade. Conry's efforts in finishing third at Catterick and Leicester put him in the mix but he did disappoint in a Goodwood seller this month.
