Verdict

This looks to be a straight match between Sicily and Loyal, with the former just preferred to come out on top today. John Gosden's string are just beginning to really fire and, although she was well beaten last time out, Sicily should have come on greatly for the outing and she will be seen in a better light over this sort of trip. Loyal is capable of giving the selection a race for most of the way, but may be better over a slightly shorter trip. Blue Water is one for the brave.
