Verdict

Desert Dream is just 3lb higher than when scoring at Carlisle and again ran well on soft ground at Ayr last week. YOUNG JOHN is handed a tentative vote as he bounced back to form at Leicester where he was staying on over 6f while Naples Bay didn't appreciate Tapeta at Newcastle having won twice at Ayr this year. Admiral Rooke has gone close on several occasions but is 0-16 while Slipstream was beaten in a seller at Leicester on Tuesday. Acadian Angel hasn't won since July last year and keeps getting beaten off this sort of mark while Abushamah and Clergyman were beaten in a lowly grade last time.
