        Verdict

        Greenwich improved on his debut when fourth at Ayr but doesn’t set a particularly high standard. Shotley Royale, on the other hand, failed to build on a fair first run at Pontefract when well beaten at Carlisle which means that PLINK, the first foal to race of a 7f winner, has been found a very winnable contest in which to make his racecourse debut.
