In depth

Verdict

Out Of Breath bids for a hat-trick on the back of winning an apprentices’ race at Hamilton. He escapes a penalty for that success and should go close if staying this extra distance while Ezanak won an amateurs’ race at Ayr last time but will find this tougher. THORNTON LE CLAY had been racing in point-to-points before returning to the Flat over 1m5f at Hamilton and was beaten less than a length. He should appreciate this extra furlong and looks capable of winning off his current mark. Phoenix Strike may prove best of the rest on today’s fast going.
