Divine Gift looks to hold very good claims and is selected ahead of Polygonal, Nero's Return and Jazz Scene. Divine Gift has put up good efforts in finishing second in each of his last two starts, the latest being the Zetland Gold Cup. He's been raised three pounds for that but it should not be enough to stop him from running a big race today. Polygonal finished well behind him at Redcar but might take to this smaller field and run a better race today, as his form from earlier in the year would entitle him to do. Cripsey Brook put in a good effort behind Strong Hand last time and, off the same mark today, holds claims. Jazz Scene made a step back in the right direction last time and, in good heart, can be afforded a chance, although he is closely weighted with Nero's Return on the basis of that run, but Isidore Bonheur and Go Tech are becoming disappointing. Once again, a solid vote lies with Divine Gift.
