Verdict

Mount Kosciuszko finished runner-up over 7f at Kempton on his handicap debut and attempts this longer trip for the first time. But PRINCE ACHILLE found one too good over course and distance a fortnight ago on his handicap bow and Jedd O’Keefe’s charge is taken to come out best. Come On John wasn’t beaten far when only sixth at Newcastle and Wynter Wildes won a maiden at Southwell before returning a beaten favourite at Lingfield. Dougies Dream, Time To Rumble and Rainbow Rain make most appeal of those handicapping for the first time with the latter representing last year’s winning yard.
