Verdict
Smoking Pigeon has been knocking on the door and a first victory can’t be far away. Beholden won a Newton Abbot maiden last summer and a novice event at Wincanton in November though hasn’t raced since. HARDY BOY just failed to overhaul the odds-on Aggagio at Hereford last month. He’s been raised 5lb but Luca Morgan claims back more than half of that so Ben Pauling’s five-year-old can go one better.
