The 'Thanks & See You Next Season' Handicap can go the way of CHOSEN FOREVER ahead of Strawberry Moon and Apollo Shark. A tough race that may not encourage too many punters to book their season tickets, however Geoff Oldroyd's unexposed son of Choisir may be the ace in the pack. A winner on debut at Doncaster in July, he recovered from a poor run at this track when second recently at Wolverhampton. Assuming his low draw is not a major negative (previous years inconclusive), punters should get a good run for their money. Red Skipper only has the one win to his name but he should appreciate the return to this trip and won't mind any further rain, Top Tribute is only rated 60 for his handicap debut, whilst Ishiadancer and Half A Crown need watching in the betting on their first handicap runs. Strawberry Moon is a course winner over six furlongs, and she has not been out of the first three in eight starts this season. Maybe I Won't has some fair all-weather form from earlier in the year but this may be a prep run for a return to an artificial surface, so of more interest may be Apollo Shark and Tito whose recent runs have been good, with the former winning a race here at Redcar at big odds. A tough finale, however Chosen Forever gets the nod.
