TAQDEYR was noted staying on well to take fifth spot in a Nottingham maiden from which the form is working out well with the fourth and fifth since scoring in impressive style. He is given the vote to land this six furlong maiden despite the fact he is dropping back from one mile to six furlongs which is an unusual approach for his trainer. His pedigree suggests trips around a mile would be his optimum and it is hard to gauge from his debut how much early toe he does possess as all his best work was being done in latter stages of the race. Edmondstown Lass and Pintano are maidens after a combined total of nineteen runs. They have no more than place claims given their exposed profiles while Morocchius has been campaigned over a variety of trips. His best effort was last time when finishing second over seven furlongs at Yarmouth but Taqdeyr should prove head and shoulders above this bunch.
