David Barron has a good record at this track and his Dispol Isle could provide the key to a tough race to work out. Sharaby, Dark Champion and Moonmaiden are others to consider. The last named will appreciate this faster ground and she could easily make the frame if she puts her mind to it today. However, she has been hard to predict and is not one to go overboard about. Neither is Dark Champion, who has already had 33 starts and has thrown away several good chances by running out of steam near the finish. He has gone close over this trip in the past and he could be very good value to at least make the frame today. Sharaby comes here on the back of four near misses that will have left her connections frustrated to say the least. She is in good heart but has something to prove on the ground. Therefore, we go with Dispol Isle, who was caught out by an unexposed individual at Catterick last time. There are no dark horses in this field and Dispol Isle looks to have a live chance in this company.
