A poor end of season maiden and one that can be taken by Mick Channon's raider Qualify, with Idarah perhaps the one for the forecast. The selection has the best form of these to take into the contest, and the drop back in trip should not be a problem at this stage of his career. A repeat of either of his last two starts will probably be good enough for him to break his maiden. The others look largely uninspiring in opposition, though Idarah ran with some promise at Newmarket on debut, and with that experience a definite plus in this field, the William Haggas-trained grey should be up to making the frame. Of the others, Mark Johnston's Fenners has not set the world alight thus far and it remains to be seen if this trip will improve him, and Rebellious Spirit is interesting on debut. But this looks a good opportunity for Qualify to claim his first win.
