Verdict
Our Sunnie, Steel City Boy and Ran Na Cille are the three to consider here, with Steel City Boy the selection. Rann Na Cille won a seller at Wolverhampton over the minimum trip recently, and although beaten in similar company since, he has pace and receives weight from his most serious rivals and can hit the frame. Our Sunnie won here last time in a claimer, looking an awkward ride, carrying his head high. Whether he can re-produce that effort on this quicker ground is open to doubt and he is taken on. Steel City Boy drops to this grade for the first time and his last run on turf was a solid one, finishing close up behind Sandwith at Ripon. That race has worked out well, and Steel City Boy can win for the first time on turf.
