A horrendous getting out stakes in which SEA SALT is offered as the token selection with Dalarossie and Just Sam the others to make appeal. Sea Salt won a Newcastle seller the other day with a degree of ease and in a race that is little better than plating class, there is at least the knowledge that Ronnie Barr's sprinter is in form. The handler is also represented by Just Sam. The filly does have an inexperienced claimer aboard in order to negate some of the 4lb penalty accrued for a recent success at the course. Dalarossie was a tad disappointing at Hamilton though in his defence, he did not get the clearest of runs when he needed it most. Admiral Bond steps up in trip having raced over the minimum trip in the recent past. Bertbrand is better known on artificial surfaces and while he is still a maiden on the turf, he could conceivably run well at a price. Circle Dance did not seem to show his form on good-to-soft last time at Thirsk and it remains to be seen as to whether he is as well handicapped as it once appeared on turf. Nufoudh has heavily penalised for a victory at Musselburgh though the handicapper has decided to drop him by two of the original 11lb rise. Titus Gent has evidently taken some time to come to hand but he seems to go well for a female rider and Kirsty Milczarek replaces Gina Andrews in the plate. Elkorn is a course and distance winner. A forgettable finale and Sea Salt is taken to land it.
