        Verdict

        RIO COBOLO was swept aside by Imperial Djay at Thirsk but the form was franked in splendid fashion when the latter scored in better company at Chester last week. David Nicholls' gelding is versatile as to ground requirements, should go well off an unchanged mark and looks the best of the yard's three entries. Frognal represents the Imperial Djay stable and should be on the premises if building on a pleasing reappearance over this trip at Catterick for which he's up 1lb. Ezra Church has yet to score over this distance but wasn't far off doing so at Newcastle last time and inhabits a tempting handicap mark. Any market support for Cathedral Spires off the bottom perch should be noted.
