BANNOCK made a more than satisfactory debut at Doncaster last month when staying on tenaciously to claim the runner-up spot behind the more experienced Forevertheoptimist in a similar maiden contest. He was not the subject of strong market support which suggests he'll come on for the run and should be good enough here. Arcticality, seemingly the choice of the Fahey pair on jockey bookings, took time to get the hang of things on her Ripon debut but showed more than enough to suggest that significant improvement can be expected. Howard Johnson has had some talented juveniles through his hands in his time and any support for his newcomer, Galilee Chapel, should be duly noted.
