In depth

Verdict

Several have been in good form on the all-weather including recent Newcastle winner Helovaplan and he’s preferred to Sheberghan over today’s distance. Rey Loopy could go well from the other end of the handicap having won a lower grade contest at Newcastle while Windsor Cross will be sharper for a recent comeback run and makes more appeal than stablemate International Man. Tim Easterby runs three with the returning Give It Some Teddy making most appeal on his course and distance victory in October but a chance is taken on the unexposed INTENSE PLEASURE. He showed some ability in only four starts for Hugo Palmer last year before gelded and switching yards in the summer. Ruth Carr could have found an easier task for his reappearance and he could be thereabouts at the finish.
