        Verdict

        The Defiant made some progress in the autumn and carried that over to his reappearance at Wolverhampton, where he had Brother Bentley behind. Placed twice at Kempton last October, Cobweb Catcher has been gelded since last seen and also goes on the short-list. Swiss Chime is fit from an all-weather campaign but VALENTINO SUNRISE is back over his winning distance after two runs over 6f at the end of last year. Mick Channon appears to have his team in good order and Scott McCullagh is good value for his 7lb claim.
