    In depth

    Verdict

Intrinsic Bond won twice last term including a success over 5f here and is 3lb higher while the less exposed Bomb Proof has faced a couple of tougher task since winning a novices’ race at Beverley and attempts today’s trip for the first time. But FORTAMOUR (NAP) has a third on the all-weather under his belt and having won a Class 2 sprint off a similar mark at Ascot in September, Ben Haslam’s charge may prove the one to side with. Gale Force Maya looks a shade high in the weights but is still preferred to Wentworth Falls, who won this 2017, and Cold Stare.
