        Verdict

        A prolific winner on the all-weather, Daafr has been less successful on Turf and can race off a lower mark back on this surface. Danielsflyer won at Newcastle last month but 2017 was the last time he scored on the Turf and stablemate CHALLET is preferred. The latter won twice last year and with further progress expected this term, Michael Dods’ charge gets the vote. National League has a shout on last season’s placed form while the same comment applies to Cruising and both make more appeal than Shawaamekh.
