        Verdict

        Mark Johnston's yard seems to have already broken up for the winter holidays so a watching brief is advised on Ultima Ora, even though she's a half-sister to multiple winner City Of Kings. Another filly, Ershaadaat, seems sure to close, however, as she only found one too good on her debut at Kempton last month. Father Bertie ran his best race so far when only beaten a neck over 6f here last week when Joey Black was well behind after running green. But the one to beat looks to be NEBULLA (NAP). He stayed on strongly into second in what looked a hot maiden at York last month and the third has franked the form since.
