The unbeaten LIMATO arrives with leading claims having beaten subsequent Molecomb Stakes winner Cotai Glory in a Listed contest at Newbury. Henry Candy's charge is 9lb clear of Bronze Maquette, his nearest rival on official ratings, and is the one to beat. The latter is also a Listed winner at Newbury, though he finished behind Mind Of Madness and George Dryden in the Flying Childers over 5f at Doncaster last time. The remainder all need to improve to get involved but Tim Easterby has sent out the winner of the last two renewals so Mattmu is worth a second glance. He finished in front of a few of these, including Kasb and Cockney Island, when third in a sales race at Doncaster last time.
