Verdict
A very lucrative contest for two-year-old fillies to open the programme and it looks to be between the Al Shaqab-owned OSAILA and Godolphin's Very Special. The former, a 200,000gns yearling, has won at Group 3 level and wasn't beaten far behind Cursory Glance when tackling the Group 1 Moyglare at the Curragh, her first start over this trip. That looks smart form and Very Special, who made a spectacular debut at Yarmouth, will need to live up to her name if she is to lower the selection's colours. Lacing appeared to show improved form when landing a similar race to this here last month and the extra furlong looks certain to be in her favour. Yorkidding ran on very strongly when landing a maiden over a mile at Hamilton and though needing to make make progress to get involved here there's every chance she will do so.
