Bartra Rock just gets the nod in the finale with Rouge Et Noir, Considine and Noble Pursuit also fancied to go well. Noble Pursuit is unexposed at the trip but has stayed further over hurdles. He has form on all types of ground and is one for each-way backers to bear in mind at a fair price. Considine won well here at the start of August and is entitle to be in the shake-up once more. He is back on the same mark and will no doubt attract some interest in spite of being set to carry top weight. Rouge Et Noir is 2lb better off with the last named and can make this a good test if he runs true to form. However, he has a tendency to find little off the bridle and Tony Culhane will have to kid him along to get the best out of him. Therefore, we turn to Bartra Rock, who appears to be a more straightforward character. The six-year-old was cruising until he found himself in a pocket at Musselburgh last week. But with more positive tactics likely to be instructed we expect a different outcome for Bartra Rock this time around.
