Tom Dascombe's Press Release has improved with each of his three starts in maidens and may do better now sent into a nursery but Richard Fahey's LAS VERGLAS STAR looked like one to keep on the right side of following his win at Ayr in April and he can give weight away with the main danger rated as stable companion Bachelor Knight. Interestingly Paul Hanagan, who has ridden both of the Fahey runners, rides the last mentioned following his success in a Ripon seller on his most recent start in May and he has every chance off what seems a decent weight of just 8st 10lb. Michael Dods has his string in good heart so Musselburgh winner Madam Markievicz has to be considered but she seems more exposed than a few of her rivals. Kevin Ryan's Puddle Duck certainly is not exposed after just two starts and he was good value for his win in an auction maiden at Ripon last time but it was a taking performance that Las Verglas Star put up when winning an admittedly three runner race at Ayr and he is taken to win again.
