Verdict

Robert Tyner, who won this in 2016/17, has two runners with Derek O'Connor booked for Fiston De Becon, a half-brother to a winning jumper in France. Scalor would be the form pick on his second here in February and he didn't get the run of the race at Thurles next time. Gordon Elliott has three entries and Jamie Codd's mount Festival D'ex has a fine pedigree for bumpers but Nicky Henderson has booked Patrick Mullins for SON Of CAMAS, and as he's a half-brother to a winning stayer on the Flat and his dam won from 7f to a mile, he should have the pace to make his long journey pay off. Champagne Diva has a smart pedigree and is one to note in the market.
