In depth

Verdict

GRANGECLARE WEST joined Willie Mullins for an incredible £430,000 after his victory between the flags at Lingstown in November and will be at short odds here. Derek O'Connor gets the ride on Salvador Ziggy, who he rode into third in a Roscommon bumper in September though not when well beaten into fourth at Sligo a month later. Time Marches On looks the main threat after two very good runs, at Tipperary in March and here last month, while Tom Mullins came up with a bumper winner during the week and Zeydabad, who is by Camelot, is a half-brother to three Flat winners and out of a mare from a very smart family.
