In depth

Verdict

Banbridge was always travelling easily when landing a Killarney bumper in style and his experience between the flags will stand him in good stead. Dual Flat winner Cacique Royale has joined Willie Mullins so is an obvious one to keep an eye on while former stablemate General Counsel, a neck second to the smart Jason The Militant on heavy going at Limerick in December 2019, ran very well on his comeback at Cork though may need a bit further. Winning bumper John Cannon hails from a yard in top form but it's about time THE GREEK was winning and he had the third a long way behind when narrowly beaten at Kilbeggan.
