Verdict

Let's Dance was going for a six-timer when surprisingly beaten by Augusta Kate at Fairyhouse but that was her fourth defeat in as many attempts at the highest level. Ruby Walsh still prefers her to her three stable companions but she faces a very stiff task against Death Duty and FINIAN'S OSCAR (NAP). The former, a Grade 1 winner at Naas in January, started a short-priced favourite for the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham but wasn't at his best and was feeling the pinch when impeded at the second last. He'd looked high class previously and will be fancied to make amends though Colin Tizzard's charge, already a dual winner at the highest level, showed his quality in the Mersey Novices' Hurdle at Aintree having missed Cheltenham and can only get better.
