John Gosden has made such a blazing start to the season that ELDRITCH (NAP), a debut winner at Haydock in October from subsequent winner Dubawi Prince , looks certain to be well supported. The latter is now rated 86 so the son of Dark Angel has to be the selection. Castellated made good progress in her first campaign and showed her liking for fast ground at Bath where she came on strongly at the finish while Melting Dew made most over a mile on the Polytrack at Lingfield and battled on really well when tackled. Master Archer didn't show much in two runs last term but was gelded over the winter and shaped with promise on his comeback at Windsor while Glorious Forever landed a maiden on that track in October, though it was on ground with some give.
